Telyza ("we", "us" or "our"), owned and operated by Ecomari Limited (Hong Kong Business Registration No. 78080642), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit telyza.com or buy from us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Personal information we collect

Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, and the items you order.
Payment details: payments are processed by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as the card type and last four digits), but we do not see or store your full card number.
Account details: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
Messages: information you give us when you email us or use our Contact Us page, such as your order number and the details of your enquiry.
Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you arrived at our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We collect this information directly from you when you place an order, create an account, contact us or subscribe to emails, and automatically when you use our website.

How we use your personal information

to process, pay for, dispatch and deliver your orders;
to send order confirmations, shipping and tracking updates;
to handle returns, refunds and warranty claims;
to answer your questions and provide customer service;
to prevent fraud and keep our website secure;
to understand how our website is used and improve it;
to send you marketing emails, but only if you have agreed to receive them; and
to meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information as needed for the purposes above, with:

Shopify, which hosts our online store and checkout;
payment providers, including the card payment processor used by our checkout, to process your payment;
Australia Post, to deliver your order and provide tracking;
service providers that help us run the store, such as order tracking, email and IT support services;
analytics and advertising providers such as Google, which receive information through cookies and similar technologies on our website; and
government authorities or others where required or authorised by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Overseas disclosure

Telyza is owned and operated by Ecomari Limited (Hong Kong Business Registration No. 78080642) from Hong Kong, so your personal information is accessed and stored in Hong Kong. Some of our service providers also store or process information outside Australia. For example, Shopify stores data on servers in Canada, the United States and other countries, and payment and analytics providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We take reasonable steps to make sure these providers protect your information to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the website and checkout to work (for example, to keep items in your cart). We also use cookies for analytics, to understand how our website is used, and for advertising, to show Telyza ads and measure how they perform, including through Google. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (cookies needed for the cart and checkout must stay on for you to place an order), opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage personalised ads from Google at myadcenter.google.com. Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to unsubscribe you by emailing info@telyza.com. Order and delivery emails are not marketing and will still be sent while you have an active order.

Security and storage

Our store and checkout use SSL/TLS encryption. We limit access to personal information to people who need it to do their job. We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet our legal and tax obligations (generally 7 years in Australia), and then delete or de-identify them.

Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@telyza.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you have an account, you can also update your details by logging in.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
